Nadira Sanif (She/Her) is Naarm/Melbourne-based aspiring puppet builder/designer.With a background in hobbyist digital art, she is learning to expand her experience into puppetry. She loves to focus on animal puppetry, and using their unique body language to express emotions.Her mentors, Dream Puppets, taught her the principles and techniques of puppet building. The privilege of participating in the Lemony S Puppet Lab has given her experience in performance, storytelling, and devising. She is also an enthusiastic UNIMA Oz member, and loves to participate in the Australian puppetry community in any way possible.Overall, as a visually oriented artist, she strongly believes in the power of puppetry, object transformation, and object theatre to awe and inspire.
